The Athens Classic City Lions Club is a part of Lions Clubs International (lionsclubs.org), therefore, we are committed to the Lions' mission of service:
"Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding. And we fulfill it every day, everywhere we serve."
Get to Know Us
The Athens Classic City Lions meet
twice monthly, on the first Monday and the third Thursday, at Loco’s Grill & Pub, 1985 South Barnett Shoals Rd, Athens, Georgia 30605.
We meet at 6 pm for fellowship and a meal. Our meeting starts at 7 pm. We try to have a special program once a month centering on service to our community.
